The cruise port serving Athens is actually located in Piraeus, a port city outside of Athens. It was quite a walk from our ship to the port gate. From there, we took a bus and then transferred to a train to reach Athens. We were the only persons to do so. Most people from the cruise took shuttle directly from the cruise port.
